Millennium Semiconductors recently held an insightful one-day “Managerial Effectiveness” workshop for our managers.
This experiential workshop highlighted that today’s workforce seeks more than just a paycheck. They want their managers to be like Mahi Bhai (a trusted coach) who guides them in identifying and developing their strengths while positioning them for success.
Our managers were introduced to Gallup’s Q12 Elements of Great Managing. These 12 elements represent the unspoken expectations of employees. When managers provide these key elements, employees respond with the performance and results the organization needs to enhance workforce engagement.
The final session focused on understanding Social Styles, offering three key takeaways:
- Mastering the ability to adapt our approach to effectively build rapport and create influence by aligning with others’ styles.
- Recognizing our own personality type.
- Learning how to identify the personality types of our team members.
